My mother just left this morning after being here for 1 whole week to visit and help with the arrival of our new baby girl. What a sad goodbye it was to drive her to the airport! Not only did she NOT get to meet her 2nd granddaughter yet, but the week went by way too fast! Taylor was so cute when she said "bye-bye" to her Grandma Susie - eyes filled with tears and the biggest pouty lip you have ever seen. She knew her Grandma was leaving!
But on a good note - we had a wonderful week of spending time together! We played games, shared stories, listened to Taylor giggle non-stop, watched every Barbie movie ever made, had some of the best homemade meals we could handle and just relaxed and enjoyed the moments we had together! Even though Bentley did not arrive, my sweet mother helped in so many ways that I can't thank her enough! What a great week it was!
Bentley Status - I had a doctor's appointment on Wed. 9/26 and things are still going very well! I am actually scheduled to be induced on Tuesday 10/2/07 (exactly 1 week after my due date) if she hasn't already decided to join us. Yes that is in October! Which is actually kind of exciting since I always wanted to get married in October and couldn't because of football season, so having a child in that month will be wonderful! Jordan keeps teasing me that I need to share better because I'm keeping Bentley all to myself - VERY FUNNY! We are just continuing to wait for our little bundle of joy to join our lives!

We just picked up Grandma Susie @ the airport and Dad gave Taylor a free ride back to the car.
We went to one of our favorites - Red Robin for dinner. Taylor keep looking at the horses and other animals on display that were around us!
Taylor & Grandma Susie coloring a pretty picture!
Grandma Great, Taylor & Grandma Susie
I ordered a chocolate milkshake and look who got to eat it!

Grandma Susie bought Taylor a new Tea Set and WOW did she love it!
Taylor wanted to help set the table - Using her Princess plates of course!
We put Taylor to bed the other night and this is where we found her. She wanted so badly to stay up late with us and play, but she also knew that it was bedtime and she was supposed to be asleep! What a good girl!

TRIP TO THE PHOENIX ZOO........
Taylor & Grandma Susie looking at the turtles & giant fish on our way into the zoo.
Me & my little girl - She is so grown up!

Taylor was very interested in the baboons - She keep telling them through the glass to "Come Here"
As you can tell most of the pictures are of the back of Taylor's head. She was just too busy looking at everything around her to pay attention to her mother!
We can't believe that our little baby is no longer a baby!
My beautiful mother & daughter!

We stopped and had lunch and watched some of the ducks and turtles swim!

I had to laugh at this sign because sometimes that is how I feel about Taylor! What an active & busy little girl that you have to watch out for what's ahead!

We had fun being outside and looking at so many fun things - Taylor really loved these paintings of frogs while we were at the zoo.
Tay just running around and enjoying her freedom!

She just couldn't resist sitting on this - why is that?

She is so innocent!
Tay - what did you find?
Funny thing is - she knew exactly what to do with it!
Going for a walk with Dad & Trigger to get the mail.
Playing babies with Grandma Great!
Making sure baby is cozy warm in her blanket!
When Bentley finally does get here, Taylor is going to be so wonderful with her! She just loves BABIES!

3 Thoughts to share!:
OH MY GOODNESS MEGAN!!! What a great entry! I LOVE the adorable pictures of little Taylor! She is getting cuter and cuter everytime I see her. I really like the pictures of her at the zoo, oh...and the ones picking up your mom from the airport are adorable too! You always have Taylor dressed to the nines! I really like her hair in piggy tails...it reminds me of Kalli:)
It looks like you had a great time with your mom down here. What a bunch of fun things you got to do...go out to eat, go to the zoo and I'm sure all those home-cooked meals were REALLY nice...especially since you weren't the one doing the cooking. It always tastes better when someone else cooks for some reason.
Also, I love the pictures of Taylor with the baby doll. That gets me excited for little Bentley to be here. Taylor looks like she'll do great with a little sister. I love the way she had the baby all bundled up in her cozy blanket! She is just precious!
I'm sad your mom couldn't stay longer to welcome little Bentley into your lives, but I'm glad she could stay as long as she did. I'll help you with ANYTHING! I'll watch little Taylor when you go to the hospital on Tuesday. Really, I'd love to! I'll call you so we can talk:)
OH! One more thing...I really like your new background and especially the slideshow pics at the top! ADORABLE!!! I just might have to copy that idea:)
Anyways, hope you're feeling good! I can't wait for tuesday! Miss you and talk to you soon!!!

Blogging is so much fun!!
I pulled out my camera today to take pictures of Taylor and Olivia... and Taylor acted like a pro. She knows exactly what to do when the camera comes out! She is such a doll! I need to record her laugh, because it is and instant "pick me up!" We love you guys! And I love all the pictures! Sorry your mom missed the babe, hopefully she will get to come again soon. I'm glad you guys got to go to the zoo. It's always a good outing!
