Oh To Be a KID!

I LOVE taking pictures....especially of my kids! It brings me so much joy seeing my children happy and having so much fun! Taylor's favorite thing to do is play with other kids! I love being able to capture those moments when she has a smile on her face that can NOT be erased!

These pictures are from some activities that we did back in March and April. Taylor is my little social butterfly and asks me everyday if we are going to play with the kids. She makes being a kid look like the best thing in the world. Her daily tasks consist of dancing like a princess, playing ready-set-go in the backyard, trying on millions of dresses, shoes & swimsuits throughout the day, chasing & wrestling a big white polar bear (Trigger) and laughing with her friends. LUCKY ME - I get a chance to have a little taste of it all just by being around her! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! She helps remind me that life doesn't always have to be so serious and there is always room for a little laughter in everything!

Future "WONDERFUL" mothers!

Kenadee and Taylor playing some hide and seek!

One morning the girls and I woke up early and went to Old Navy to do some shopping. While we were waiting in the car for the store to open we enjoyed some breakfast from McDonald's. This was a special treat for Taylor and her very first Egg Mcmuffin Sandwich. I was laughing because it was almost as big as her head. She loved it!

Talan and Taylor playing at Peter Pipper Pizza. It was so cute to see how excited they got when they won tickets and were able to trade them in for a tiny little treat or toy! It's the little things in life that make it great!

Jumping off the couch at the Taylor's house.

Talan and Taylor playing "Burritos" at Ryan and Jessica Taylor's house! I think Taylor was very impressed by all the games they play over there!

Another fun game that Tay got to play at the Taylor's house - being pushed on a toy dump truck!

Play group at Peter Pipper Pizza again! Taylor got to play with Avery, Kenadee, Kalli, Talan and even some other random kids!

Playing at Bounce U - A tiny version of American Gladiators!

Tay introducing Talan to her headband collection! Sorry Ryan & Jess, but they were having such a great time......I couldn't interrupt their fun!

Talan and Taylor playing with a little play dough!

Every once and a while I find Taylor brushing her hair with her fork. She has watched The Little Mermaid one too many times. We tell her that it is not a dingle hopper, but a fork that she uses to eat her food with. She's still undecided!

What a precious little sleeper!

Taylor hanging out with her daddy - it's hard to top that!

A Life of PINK & PURPLE

Looking back the past few months at all the pictures I have been taking of my girls I have realized just how often they are dressed in nothing but PINK & PURPLE! I guess that's not too big of a surprise since they are girls, but purple and pink are without a doubt a big part of our lives. Whether it's making some kind of treat with purple frosting and pink sprinkles or receiving packages from Grandma Susie wrapped in bright purple & pink paper it's hard to escape the fact that we are blessed with TWO BEAUTIFUL little girls! Jordan and I were laying in bed the other night after the girls were in bed and laughing about how different our lives would be if we had little boys. Although I have high hopes of having a son someday, we couldn't be any happier right now!

Here are a few pictures of the purple & pink world that we live in:
