Just because moments..........

Life is so unexpected with every twist and turn you take. The older I get the more I realize that life is not a fairytale, but it still can be pretty dang good. It's all about what we make of it and the ones that we get to enjoy it with along the way!

Lately I have really been reflecting on all the "just because moments" in my life and I am far MORE blessed than I could have ever imagined. I have an incredible man that loves me regardless of the countless flaws I have and he continues every day to put his wife and daughters first with each decision that he makes. I have two BEAUTIFUL children that even at this very moment make my heart smile and take my breath away with every move they make. Really - what more could I ask for? Then why do I sometimes get so wrapped up in all the things that I don't have? Life is hard and I truly don't believe that it is meant to be easy all the time, but I really want to make an extra effort to appreciate when times are going well.

Today was one of those GREAT days. Nothing spectacular or eventful - I just had so much fun with my girls! They enrich my life in so many ways. We decided to take a girls trip over to Chandler Mall and I asked Tay if she would be willing to help me find a new swimsuit. She agreed with a happy smile on her face. We went to Dillard's and not only were they having a 75% off sale on all their swimsuits, they had SO many to choose from. This was a BLAST! I've never gone shopping with my 2 1/2 year old daughter like this before. She showed a sincere interest in finding me a cute suit. She walked around the aisles with me and pointed out all the ones that she thought would look good. Bentley just smiled and laughed while she watched her big sister skip around the store. In the fitting room while trying on my selections I would ask Taylor which one she liked. With one of the suits this was the response I got, "I don't like it Mom. It's too small." Well, that's nice. At least she was honest. I just gave her a squeeze and told her thanks for her opinion. We had In-N-Out for lunch on the way home. Tay impressed me by eating over 1/2 of her cheeseburger. Nothing big, just a simple day with my girls. But they were SO good and SO fun today that I couldn't help but want to remember this day forever!

We had lunch with Jordan a few weeks ago at Pei Wei and the girls LOVED seeing their daddy during the day! This was a real special treat!

Jordan brought home these gorgeous roses one night "Just Because" and I was so surprised and grateful! It's even nicer when you are not expecting it! It made my whole week!

My life - my girls!

Playing with my baby! I love the close relationship I have with Bentley. We really do share a special bond together!

What a sweet post Megan. You are so amazing. SERIOUSLY why do we let our wants get in the way sometimes and allow them to bring us down? Esp when we know where our TRUE happiness comes from? It's a constant trial to stay grounded but I will say...as I get older- it becomes easier.
Darling pictures. You sure are a good lil mommy.
