Jordan turned 27 on August 10th and we are finally the same age again (well, for at least another 6 months). We had so many family things going the weekend of his birthday that we decided to celebrate his special day the following weekend! The girls and I surprised him with a relaxing getaway to the Camelback Inn JW Resort & Spa in Scottsdale and we had such a great time! We spent the weekend shopping, eating delicious meals, playing by the pool, going shopping some more - Tay even got her first haircut (those pictures to come a little later) and created some good memories for our family to look back on! I'm so glad that we got to spend that time together and I hope Jord had a great B-day!
Jordan has been begging me to make him a soft camouflage blanket ever since he saw the blanket that I made for me & the girls so I decided to grant his wish. Tay, Beny and I picked out some really soft camo fabric and surprised him with the finished blanket over the weekend. We also gave him a giant picture frame with a ton of black & white pictures of us with the girls. It turned out really nice and I love looking at the pictures of everything our family has done together - it just makes me realize what a great life we really have!
Jord - I hope you had a very wonderful birthday! We LOVE you so much and can't believe how lucky we got to have such an amazing guy in our lives! You make everyday SO much better and I can't imagine my life without you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We went to Macaroni Grille on Friday night for dinner and it was SO good! Jordan traced both of the girls hands on the table and they just LOVED it!

I got up bright and early once again for my long run and here I am with the girls after running 12 miles! I was happy to see them!

Taylor LOVES her new princess figurines! So far she eats, sleeps, takes and bath and does EVERYTHING with all 8 of them!
We went for a walk around a place called Mummy Mountain right behind our resort and it was so neat! It's kind of a western mini town. Because it was SO hot we didn't get to stay very long, but I bet when the weather cools down that place would be fun to spend some time at!
