This Holiday Season was truly a magical one! We celebrated not only in our new home, but with a new important addition to our family! It was Bentley's first Christmas and I still can't believe that I am a mother to two beautiful little girls!
On Christmas Eve we went out to my aunt & uncle's house (Norm & Cara Germaine) and did the traditional AMAZING dinner and white elephant gift exchange. It was so much fun and great to see my family! For dinner everyone is required to bring their favorite dish to share with everyone else. So basically, there was ALL kinds of food and plenty of it. Jordan took his famous ranch mashed potatoes, I took a carmel apple pie, Taylor brought vanilla ice cream and Bentley took a 1/2 gallon of milk (which I thought was very clever). We made out pretty good with the white elephant gifts too. I would have been happy with anything but the "Yard O Beef" - which someone brings every year! It was a great night!
Christmas morning was so much fun too! Taylor woke us up at around 7:00 am (which isn't too bad). Her reaction was priceless. She kinda just stood there and didn't know what to do. Even though Bentley was still sleeping we went ahead and opened presents (except hers of course) which she will probably be upset about later in life, but that's okay! It actually took us a long time to open gifts because every time Taylor opened up a toy she just wanted to play with it. We had to force her to open the last few presents under the tree - how funny!
It was a wonderful Christmas and the best gift of all was being together as a family in our brand new home! It's crazy to think that this was the first year of our marriage that we weren't running off to some bowl game for football. It was kinda cool to just be home and be together! But I have to say that our kids are EXTREMELY spoiled! Their grandparents & parents really love them! (But especially the grandparents - WOW did they spoil our girls!)

What a fun Christmas memory you shared with us! We enjoyed every picture in the slide show. The only thing better would be if we could have been there to see it all first hand. Well sweetie, you did a great job of presenting our Christmas morning! It was a GREAT one just watching the girls enjoy it and all of the excitement in their little faces! Not only the girls, but that big ol' dog Trigger! What a way to roll into a new year!!
What a special Christmas. Your little family of four in your brand new home...LUCKY! I am SO jealous! I just want to be in a home already! HELP US!!! Anyways, it looks like your Christmas was pretty amazing! We sure missed you guys throughout the holidays!
