Trip to the E.R.

Today was going to be a great day for blogging! I was so excited to get caught up on everything that has been happening in our lives since the big move! Instead we decided to pay a little visit to the emergency room (I guess since we hadn't been there since November). All those other posts will come another day, but as for now this is what's happening in the Hill House as of right now!

My poor little Taylor! Her very first injury that required us to go the the hospital - it just about broke my heart! Me & the girls decided to go to Kohl's this morning to do some shopping for the new house since they were having a BIG 2 day SALE! We definitely found some good stuff, but my excitement with the deals I found was cut short when we reached the car to head back home. I remember saying, "Tay, you need to sit down, okay!" and then the next thing I knew she slipped and fell out of the stroller backwards right onto the asphalt. I really freaked out! That was so scary to see my little girl laying there, screaming and bleeding quite a bit! Thankfully there were people near that helped me and directed me the nearest hospital just down the street.

The results from the accident were good news! She didn't even need stitches - she just has two pretty good size goose eggs on the back of her head. Thank goodness! She was one tough little girl! Hopefully we won't have any more trips to the E.R. for a while!

My poor little angel!

Taylor's battle wound!

Thankfully, Jordan met us at the hospital - Here he is putting some ice on her cut.

What a great Daddy!

Here's the little sister during all the drama! Bentley is such a good baby!

Taylor was very proud of her "ouchie bracelet" that the hospital gave her.

Taylor having lunch after her big day!

Jord went and got her some lunch from Chick-fil-A after being such a trooper!

Oh, Taylor! We are so sorry you got such a BIG Ouchie! Thank you for being so brave at the hospital. We wish we could be there to kiss it all better. Maybe Grandma Susie should come and take you shopping for a new princess dress! What do you think? And, Bentley! What a good baby girl. We can tell she really loves her big sister! We are glad everything turned out alright. Way to go Meg! You handled it just like a pro, but it sounds like Jordan was the Knight in shining armor for his girls once again! Love to you all! xxoo

Taylor, we are so sorry to hear of your fall. You were such a big girl it sounds like. I hope you are not following in your dad's footsteps as far as the accidents go. We had to take him plenty of times to the ER too!
Bentley looks like she is getting more vibrant. We sure enjoy seeing the pictures and hearing how all of you are doing. We miss all of you a lot and can't wait to see you and your new house.
Take care and we love you!

Tayor, just for the record, you are not like your father, it is your uncle Dex that was in and out of the ER! Well, I think that we may have some hope for you that you may not like to go shopping! So maybe while the other girls go shopping you and I can go to the ball games or we can go play at the parks! You are a tough lil princess, "MY TOUGH LIL PRINCESS!"

OH MY GOODNESS! Poor little Taylor! I feel SO bad for her! I know exactly how you felt though, isn't it the worst feeling in the world? To know your child is in pain and you don't know what to do to fix it. I'm glad she got out of the E.R. with just her awesome battlewounds and a pretty hospital bracelet. Gotta love Taylor!
