We had a great Valentine's Day! Jordan & I decided to take turns each year with who is in charge of making our Valentine's Day plans. This year was my year and because I was in charge I guess I went a little over board....I'm not sure why because I never do that! Right, babe?!!?
Since it fell on a Thursday this year I had the whole day to get things ready (with the girls help) while Jordan was at work. Bentley is still pretty young to leave with a baby-sitter and we still haven't exactly found one that we trust out this direction so I had to plan activities that all four of us could enjoy!
I decided to have a romantic candlelit dinner with sparkling cider and take-out from Pei Wei Asian Diner & of course chocolate fondue for dessert. Taylor helped me set the table...with three place settings and a baby bouncer near by. It doesn't get more romantic than that! She even helped sprinkle rose petals on the table for me. We had a lot of fun preparing for daddy to come home. I also got the girls each a little Valentine's basket with goodies for all of us to share. They were both really excited!

The girls and I getting ready to run a few errands.

The table all set!

The chocolate fondue area! YUMMY!

The strawberries are my favorite!

I found some toasted coconut marshmallows and they were AMAZING in the chocolate. Jordan said that it's hard to beat the graham crackers though.

He LOVES all his girls!

Our romantic dinner.....party of four!

Tay enjoying some of the dessert!

This is what her plate looked like. She put way more on her plate than she actually ate. I think she just liked dipping things in the chocolate and licking her fingers.

My Love eating some fondue. Notice the headband that he is wearing. Taylor made him. I guess that's what you get when you have dinner with three girls - they say what goes!

Bentley was sad that she didn't get any chocolate. Someday sweetie! She's still teething pretty badly so we gave her a cold wet washcloth to suck on. Definitely not as good as our dessert, but she liked it.

The flowers that I received from Jord and the girls.

Jordan wasn't supposed to get me any presents, but he surprised me with this mirror that I have been wanting.

We hung it over our couch in the great room since the walls have been completely bare in there. I just LOVE it! It's beautiful!

Taylor receiving and looking through her goody basket. She liked the book the best!

Bentley with her Valentine's basket. She was so excited too!

.....So excited that she kicked it over. Her legs are crazy these days! She LOVES to kick!

The girls together showing each other what they got!

Taylor & Bentley received their very first Valentine is the mail....

.....it was from the WONDERFUL Manutai family!

To say the least, Taylor was thrilled!

Thank you SO much Beau, Klorissa, Kiki and Kalli! We love you guys! And Klor - you are the sweetest person! Thank you for always thinking of us!

Bentley with her 1st Valentine!

Even though she wasn't allowed to eat the candy she LOVED the card!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
1 Thoughts to share!:
Okay, I just got done writing you a novel of a comment and then I lost it. Dangit! Anyways, I love the pictures of your fun Valentine's Day. You are so cute and creative! I'll bet Jordan and your girls just love that about you! I should have done some cute gift baskets for my girls. I'm going to steal all of your ideas for next year:) Also, I'm so glad that the girls liked their Valentine's. Kenadee LOVED putting them together. She personalized each one. We can't wait to see you! We get our keys for our new place next Monday...YAY! We're going to move in next Saturday, but I'm going to paint a few things before the official move. The owner is letting me do basically anything I want with the place, I'm SO excited! I'll talk to you about it soon! Glad to hear your Valentine's Day was fabulous! We actually had a Pei Wei dinner too...great minds think alike:)
