1st Time Curl!

I think Sunday is Taylor's favorite day of the week. She LOVES going to nursery and ABSOLUTELY LOVES wearing dresses so it's a win win situation for her. Two Sunday's ago I decided to try curling her hair since it is starting to get longer in the back (which I am SO excited about)! She picked out what dress she wanted to wear for the day and when I asked her if she wanted me to curl her hair, she smiled a priceless smile and said, "Yes Mommy!" So I curled her hair for the very first time ever and it looked really cute! Probably not like the curl that some of you mom's can do for your little girls full head of hair, but for mine she looked just perfect!

I took her to nursery that day and she was happy as can be. After church I went to pick Taylor up and as usual I asked the nursery leaders how she was for the day. I normally get a response like, "Oh, she was soooo good!" Or something like,"She is just such a sweet little girl!" I especially got those comments at our ward in Mesa. Not today though. The nursery worker politely replied, "Well, she sorta had a rough day. She kicked a kid once and pushed twice." I was shocked! Yeah, she has played rough before and maybe pushed out of fun, but never kicked. Jordan and I had a long talk with her and I worked with her all last week to prepare a much more behaved child for the next Sunday. Jord & I figured that some kid kicked her and she laughed and when she kicked them back they cried so she got into trouble. She's a tough kid, but definitely not mean - we'll just have to keep working with her. I had to laugh to myself because the first day that she acted like that is when I curled her hair like a pretty little princess!

This past Sunday I did NOT curl her hair and they said that she was a lot better this week......at least NO kicking or pushing. We'll just have to take it one step at a time with this angel of mine!

Another pic of Tay's hair curled.

She loves flowers and actually wanted me to take pictures of her so I took full advantage!

SO grown up!

My little Taylor - What more could a mother ask for?

I love the hair!
Charlotte's hair is not only thin but curly...so whenever she wakes up she has afro hair...BIG time and she hates having it brushed...thats why she always has crazy homeless hair in pictures...it drives me crazy. I can't believe she let you curl her hair...it looks so cute and all grown up!
ps-Happy (late) Birthday!

I can't believe how long Taylor's hair has gotten! Ashton's doesn't seem to look any longer. Your new place looks awesome- I'm sure Taylor's enjoying all the extra space! I sent you an e-mail about your order. Thanks Megan!

p.s. Happy late b-day!!
