Bentley has taken a big step in her little life and has advanced to baby food. I think I waited with Taylor until she was 6 months and she even had 4 or 5 teeth by then. I was a new mother and worried about choking and allergies and who knows what else, so I took my sweet time. This time around, even though I don't have it all figured out, I feel much more confident with my parenting skills and decided to start Bentley at 4 months old. I made this decision for several reasons, but the main reason was because it was starting to get very difficult to eat anything in front of her. She showed MAJOR interest in food and was grabbing, starring - almost drooling over everything we were eating. Poor little girl - so deprived!
We started with the rice cereal and she just hated it. For about a week I tried to convince her how DELICIOUS it was, but she still wasn't crazy about it. So, I finally started giving her straight baby food and she LOVED it! She absolutely loves bananas which makes me very happy! It's so fun to feed her these and watch her lick her cute little lips after each bite! I just love her and I love that she is growing bigger! her personality is SO SWEET and I love seeing it develop more and more each day!

Here are a bunch of pictures the past month or so of her eating rice cereal & baby food. Probably a little overkill with all the pics, but I had a hard time deciding which ones to include. She is just so cute! I can't say it enough, but I love when they learn or do something for the very first time. You can see the proud look in their eyes when they know they are able to accomplish something new!

She already is changing so much since the last time I saw you guys.. I love her little smile in the last picture, she is a doll. You need to come out and play with all of us again sometime soon. bryce hates baby food, so he is still sticking to the big boob!
Well, Bentley, food is AWESOME!!! Just wait til we get to feed you the really good stuff! With just looking at the pictures of you, I know who is feeding you...and it's not your dad...not Taylor...but your mom! Atleast you don't have it on your head like Taylor did! Just kidding. You have the BEST MOM, she knows what you need and what will keep you happy!!!
Oh little Bentley is just a doll. She is looking more and more like Taylor! How cute! It's such a fun stage once they start eating solids. I can't believe she's that old already! I especially love the video. And I love that you always have her dressed up SO cute, bow included:)
