Oh To Be A Mother!

It was my first Mother's Day as a mother of two.....and it sure was a wonderful one! I love my girls so much and I'm thankful everyday for the little things they bring to my life that makes the journey that much better! I truly would be lost without them! I'm especially grateful for the man that made me a mother. My husband is such an unbelievable person and has so many qualities that just blow me away! After almost 5 years of marriage and two kids later, I love him more than ever! I'm so happy to be a mother!

I cherish my moments with Bentley as I continue to realize that she too will grow just as fast as Taylor has and before I know it she will be a darling little girl, running and playing beside her big sister! For now she is my little baby and I never want to forget what an amazing baby she truly is. The time that I get to spend with her each day is an absolute blessing. And every night before I lay her in her crib to go to sleep, we say our prayers for all the wonderful things we are thankful for that day. Her little hand will reach up and touch my mouth as I'm speaking the words and it melts my heart. This is such a tender moment that I share with my baby girl! I want to remember it always!

Taylor is my pride and joy! She makes our lives so worth every minute! Each morning I wake up BRIGHT & EARLY to that precious face and I know we have a new adventure to take on! I want to remember always the laughter that we share together while making funny faces, dancing in our underwear and painting our fingernails PINK! She is my TOUGH girly girl! We have so much fun while she is awake and when she is finally asleep I can't help but notice how peaceful she is. She looks just like a sleeping angel!

My Mother's Day was awesome! On Saturday, we went and picked out some flowers to plant in the backyard. This was a tradition that I shared with my mother on Mother's Day growing up and I really want to continue the tradition with my kids. We only got a few flowers this year which was perfect and we planted them as a family Saturday afternoon. The girls were a big help! Sunday, we woke up and had a delicious breakfast with Jordan's famous German Pancakes and they gave me really sweet Mother's Day cards before we started getting ready for church! Later that night we drove out to Chandler to Norm & Cara's house from Sunday dinner. It was yummy as always and great to see everyone! The girls had a blast playing with their cousins and we enjoyed visiting with the adults! My Aunt Natalie wasn't there unfortunately, but for a good reason! Her and Joe had their second baby boy early that morning and she was still in the hospital! What an appropriate day to have a baby! Congratulations to them!

I took this picture at the Denver Zoo and couldn't agree more - A Mother's Work is always, always keeping us busy!

Officially becoming a mom - the day after getting home from the hospital with Taylor.

Getting ready to leave the hospital with Bentley.

Holding both my girls together for the very first time!

My Mother's Day Card from Taylor & Bentley!

My card from Jordan - Including the BEST gift EVER!

Getting ready to plant our beautiful flowers!

Taylor helping her daddy dig the holes for the flowers.

Tay & I planting flowers together!

It's okay to get a little dirty every now and then!

Having a little fun watering the flowers!

Jord is SO big and strong! I love him!

I LOVE this picture! She looks so tiny and eventhough you can't see her face she looks lost in deep thought!

Bentley was my little helper with planting the flowers by the palm tree on the other side of the yard.

She is so dang long! I love this precious baby!

I love the planting flowers on Mother's Day. And I love that it's a tradition you're carrying on. Megan, you are such a good momma. Your girls are blessed and lucky to have you! It was good to talk to you today! Tell Taylor to call Livy! She's dying to chat with her. Love ya!

WHat a sweet little tribute for Mother's Day! You are such a special mother and I know your girls think the same. You can just see how happy they are all the time, and you are the main reason for that! I love the pictures of you guys planting your flowers. What a sweet gift for Mother's Day! Jordan sure knows how to spoil you! Him and Beau are alike in so many ways:) I hope you know how special you are as a mother. You're doing such a wonderful job in raising your two beautiful girls. Happy Mother's Day Megan!

Love, Klorissa

Well, what can I say other than Meg is the MOST Amazing Mother there is!! Those two little girls adore everything that their mother does, they just light up when their mommy walks into the room!! I guess they are learning now how their mother can just light up a room!! Meg is such an amazing mother, she does such a good job in raising those girls!!! Bentley's so tender and her sweet little tenderness she gets from her mother, they have such an amazing bond. Meg and Tay have a different kind of bond, Tay knows how to push her mom's buttons, but Tay absolutely adores her Mom!!! Meg is a TRULY AMAZING MOTHER!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!
